This depends on the province your speaking about. In Ontario the tenant has all the rights. But if you have a great vetting process and are patient for the right tenant the experience is still good.

If you’re dealing with a difficult tenant I highly recommend hiring a professional.

    Are there any cons in landlord friendly provinces or states? @Theandinvestments @Paula.Moura @OntarioLandlordsWatch @MargaretCP @manjitrukhra @Ally @sarahlarbi

Thanks for sharing your insights! It’s true that tenant-landlord dynamics can vary quite a bit from one province or state to another. Having a solid vetting process in place and being patient when selecting tenants can indeed make a positive difference in your rental experience. While some regions may be more landlord-friendly, it’s essential to stay informed about the local laws and regulations to avoid any potential pitfalls. If anyone has experienced cons in landlord-friendly provinces or states, please do share your experiences and tips.
