I bought my first income property in 2007 before the crash and have been a student ever since. In 2016, I began teaching and supporting people in Private Mortgage/Lending Investments. Instructing everyday people in how to be the bank and get paid like the bank. Why do the banks love lending your money on real estate rather than teaching you how to do it? Clearly you can’t be trusted with such knowledge or maybe because that would take away from all the money they would get to make from you. As they say…that’s just business.

I also love multifamily residential real estate, why you ask? Maybe you like the work of fixing toilets and managing tenants I like the leverage that 10 units or more brings; if someone moves…I’ve still got 9 units paying the expenses. Sure duplexes are easier to acquire and if some one moves out, you lose 50% of the income! Also the more the doors the easier it is to cover for a property manager.
